Within the G20 YEA Russia is lead jointly by two organisations. These are The Center for Entrepreneurship and OPORA.
The Center for Entrepreneurship (CFE) is an entrepreneurship development organization based in Moscow, with centers in St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod. CFE focuses on three areas. One, it trains and organizes network learning events for Russian entrepreneurs who have the desire and ability to grow their businesses. Two, it supports entrepreneurship education in Russian schools and universities by training Russian faculty in how to teach entrepreneurship and by initiating the Russian Association of Entrepreneurship Education. And three, through its Alliance for Entrepreneurship Development and other initiatives such as Global Entrepreneurship Week and the G20 Young Entrepreneurs’ Alliance, CFE acts as a catalyst and assists other organizations throughout Russia in promoting and creating a healthy climate for entrepreneurship in Russia. OPORA RUSSIA is a platform for effective professional dialogue between small and medium-sized entrepreneurs and representatives of federal executive bodies, regional authorities and municipalities, regulatory bodies, small and medium-sized businesses infrastructure support, as well as representatives of the expert community. «OPORA RUSSIA» is aimed at solving issues faced by Russian entrepreneurs in their everyday business practices: legal protection, fund raising, state support, business contacts within the business community and many others.
